Sophic: Significant interest expected for the new issuance of Cyprus Government Treasury Bills

The new issuance of 13-week Cyprus Government Treasury Bills (maturing on February 28, 2025) will take place on Monday, 25 November with the estimated annualised yield expected to range between 2.95% and 3.05%, according to Sophic.

A press release from the investment platform powered by Athlos Capital said, "Investments in Treasury Bills (T-bills) continue to attract growing interest from both retail investors and businesses. For instance, in the latest T-bill auction for €25 million, the total bids submitted reached €93 million."

Sophic plans to secure part of the issuance to make the T-bills available to its clients, as it has done with previous issuances, the platform said, noting, "T-bills offer attractive returns and serve as one of the best options for non-professional investors and businesses looking to optimise their available liquidity."
