Deputy Minister of Shipping in Athens for Greece-Cyprus-Malta meeting

Deputy Minister of Shipping Marina Hadjimanolis is travelling to Athens to participate in the 8th Trilateral Ministerial Meeting between Greece, Cyprus, and Malta on maritime issues, which is being hosted by Greece on 3 November.

In a press release, the Deputy Ministry said the meeting will be attended by Greece's Minister of Shipping and Island Policy, Christos Stylianides, and Malta's Minister for Transport and Infrastructure, responsible for maritime matters, Aaron Farrugia.

During the meeting, the Ministers of the three maritime countries will discuss current issues and challenges affecting global and European shipping, aiming to strengthen cooperation and coordination among the three countries.

During her stay in Athens, Hadjimanolis will also hold meetings with the Greek shipping community as part of intensive efforts to promote and support the Cypriot ship registry and the broader Cypriot maritime industry. Additionally, she will participate in events related to maritime education, with the goal of fostering partnerships that will enhance Cyprus' position in the sector.
