Limassol Marina adds ISO 13687 Level 3 to its best practice certifications

Limassol Marina has received the ISO 13687-3 best practice certification, deeming it “a significant milestone that underscores the marina's commitment to excellence in the realm of yacht harbours”.

The ISO 13687 certification “Part 3: Minimum requirements for high-service level harbours" sets stringent standards for commercial and non-commercial harbours catering to leisure vessels, ensuring a superior level of service to the boating community.

ISO 13687-3:2017 lays down the groundwork for what it takes to be a high-service level harbour for recreational boating activities and sets a high-bar of achievements for level 3 certification. This certification recognises that Limassol Marina adheres to the highest industry standards when it comes to providing exceptional services to yacht owners and enthusiasts.

Limassol Marina's latest certification adds to the extensive list of ISO certifications (the world’s premier bench-marking programmes) and awards it has received over the years for excellence in operation.

“The Marina has consistently demonstrated its dedication to providing world-class services to its customers,” the company said announcing the news.

Some of Limassol Marina's other notable ISO certifications successfully re-accredited for 2023 include:

ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management System: This certification reflects the marina's commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all its operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

ISO 14001:2015 - Environmental Management System: Limassol Marina is environmentally responsible and has implemented practices to minimize its impact on the environment while promoting sustainability.

ISO 45001:2018 - Occupational Health and Safety Management System: The safety and well-being of its employees and visitors are paramount, and this certification showcases the marina's commitment to maintaining a safe environment.

“As the only marina in Cyprus that holds all the above certifications, this additional ISO 13687-3:2017 certification combined with the Marina’s existing certifications and numerous awards from yachting industry and environmental bodies, solidifies its position as the premier destination for yacht owners and enthusiasts in Cyprus and the East Med region, showcasing its unwavering dedication to providing world-class services and an unrivalled customer experience,” it said.
