De Guindos to address Central Bank of Cyprus' 1st Annual Conference

Vice-President of the European Central Bank Luis de Guindos will be the keynote speaker at the first Annual Conference of the Central Bank of Cyprus to take place at the Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Limassol this afternoon.

Central Bank of Cyprus Governor Constantinos Herodotou will give a welcome address which will be followed by de Guindos’ keynote speech.

A panel discussion will follow on ‘Inflation uncertainty ramifications on investment and business decisions’ with the participation of João Sousa, Deputy Director General, DG Economics, European Central Bank, and Ernest Gnan, Secretary General, SUERF – The European Money and Finance Forum and Honorary Economic Advisor to the OeNB Governor.

A second panel discussion will be on ‘Cyprus economy, outlook and opportunities’ with the participation of Irene Piki, Deputy Minister to the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Panicos Nicolaou, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Association of Cyprus Banks, and Evgenios Evgeniou, Chairman, Invest Cyprus.

A networking cocktail will close the event.
