The event was held on the occasion of Women's Entrepreneurship Day, in the presence of the Commissioner for Gender Equality, Josie Christodoulou, and US Ambassador Julie D. Fisher, with the speakers highlighting the need to integrate the principles of equality in every aspect of the operation of organisations and businesses operating in Cyprus.

Speaking at the event, Christodoulou, congratulated Consulco on the initiative and analysed the role of women in business today. According to Christodoulou, despite important steps being taken, discrimination and inequalities remain and there is great room for progress.
