The series of events kicks off with the lighting of the Christmas tree on Friday, 1 December at 18:00. Standing at 10 meters tall, UNIC’s tree is among the capital's tallest Christmas trees. During the event, the University of Nicosia will treat visitors to complimentary mulled wine, hot soup and treats.

On Saturday, 2 December and Sunday, 3 December, from 11:00 to 19:00, visitors can take part in UNIC’s festive “Christmas village,” featuring decorated wooden houses and stalls, an outdoor market with handicrafts, Christmas decorations, gifts, sweets and street food.

There will also be activities for both adults and children, ranging from theatre and music performances, storytelling, face painting, a photo booth with Santa and elves, a bouncy castle, and more.
