CING is hiring a Project Manager

The Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics (CING) is looking to recruit a Project Manager to join its Cancer Genetics, Therapeutics and Ultrastructural Pathology Department.
The position is for a period of 24 months with a possibility of extension for another 22 months.
According to the job posting, the successful candidate will take the role of Project Manager for the Horizon Europe funded Project no. 101082049, entitled “Adaptation to climate change in the rhizosphere across the millennia (TOLERATE)”.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and management of the project including but not limited to the financial reporting to the European Commission, development of a consortium communication plan, maintenance and update of a dedicated project website, development of a communication, dissemination and exploitation strategy of project outcomes, data management plan and intellectual property-related aspects, contribution to networking, workshop, summer school and various other clustering activities. The position requires frequent travelling for progress report meetings, review meetings, etc., in different consortium countries across Europe.
The post requires a BSc or equivalent degree in any Business, Engineering, Biological, Chemical Sciences, or closely related field; strong command of the Greek and English language; strong interpersonal and communication skills; and strong organisational and time management skills.
The following will be considered as advantage:
- An MBA / MSc / MEng / PhD in Business, Engineering, Biological and Chemical Sciences or closely related field
- Previous experience in research project management
- Previous experience in scientific content development and communication / dissemination / exploitation of project results
