Cyprus and Estonia promote cooperation in e-Health

Cyprus and Estonia plan to cooperate in the field of e-Health, with Cyprus aiming to draw expertise and good practices from Estonia, which is considered a model country in this field.

A Ministry of Health press release said that Minister of Health Dr Popi Kanari, in the framework of her participation in the Ministerial Meeting on Health Systems in Tallinn, had bilateral meetings with the Estonian Minister of Health Riina Sikut.

"During the meeting, it was agreed to establish cooperation in areas that will be mutually beneficial for both countries," the press release said.

The Minister of Health also participated in multilateral meetings, in the framework of which the Tallinn Charter on Health Systems, which was drawn up as a result of the consultations and the outcome of the Summit, was adopted.
