Successful Cyprus business mission to New York

A business mission consisting of nine Cypriot companies recently joined a mission to New York, where they highlighted Cyprus' advantages as a global business hub.

“In collaboration, the Trade Center of the Republic in New York and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry successfully organised a business mission in New York,” the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry said I an announcement.

It said the Cypriot mission participated in a Business Forum on 15 November that was focused on showcasing Cyprus as an international business centre, but also a gateway to the markets of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

“The mission – which was a part of the government’s efforts to promote Cyprus’ key advantages as a business destination to targeted markets, as well as boost the Cypriot service providers’ extroversion – was joined by nine Cypriot businesses, which had the opportunity to network with corresponding businesses in New York,” the ministry added.

The participants presented what Cyprus has to offer to US businesses as an ideal destination to develop strategic partnerships and establish, operate and further advance their business/commercial plans in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the ministry concluded.
