Flo Premium free for 1 billion women worldwide

Cyprus-based Flo has made its Flo Premium app completely free for over 1 billion women worldwide, expanding the Pass It On Project further to give the power of health literacy to more women living in countries where access to safe and credible health information is limited.

Back in October 2022, Flo announced that it would be giving Flo Premium to women across 22 countries — including Ethiopia, Haiti, and Nepal — at no cost to them.
“Flo’s mission is to build a better future for female health, but studies, surveys, and health outcomes show us that there's still a long way to go,” the company, which was co-founded by Palta’s Alexey Gubarev. “While 70% of women in India report menstrual health issues, a concerning 82% of girls in Malawi reported having no knowledge of menstruation before their first period.”
As of now, 1 billion women will now have access to Flo Premium completely free; 44 new countries can now benefit, including India, Indonesia, and Nigeria; and 10 million+ women worldwide are using Flo Premium for free.

The company has thanked its existing paying Premium members, who it says have made it possible for it to create this global movement.
