PAUL is opening its fourth restaurant in Cyprus
07:09 - 23 December 2023
Following the success of its two shops in Nicosia and one in Larnaca, the famous French chain PAUL Boulangerie-Patisserie-Restaurant-Café will be opening a new shop at Limassol Marina soon.
The French chain’s new offering will be divided into two areas: the PAUL Patisserie & Espresso Bar and the PAUL Café & Restaurant.
PAUL Patisserie & Espresso Bar
The Patisserie & Espresso Bar, which will be self-service, will offer visitors the chance to choose what they want from the takeaway bar and eat in or take out.
They will have a choice of French croissants, freshly made sandwiches, the famous PAUL coffee as well as tarts, macarons, mille-feuille and other trademark French confectionaries by PAUL.
PAUL Café & Restaurant
At PAUL Café & Restaurant, visitors will be able to enjoy brunch, lunch or dinner, choosing from a broad range of signature dishes, all with a touch of France.
A favourite brunch option is the Salmon Croll Egg Benedict, where a croissant with cream cheese tartare meets smoked salmon, wild arugula, poached egg, hollandaise and crispy onion flakes. And there is a variety of signature French dishes that date back a century, such as the Croque Monsieur and Croque Madame, as well as delicious French toast and crepes.
For lunch, diners can choose between Coq au vin – well-cooked rooster in red wine, mushroom and bacon sauce – or the Ribeye Steak with aromatic café de Paris butter. And then of course there’s the French onions pappardelle.
And all this can be topped off with one of PAUL’s signature desserts. The Floating Island with baked merengue, crème anglaise, caramelised almonds and forest fruits is sure to satisfy the palette, while chocolate lovers mustn’t miss the Fondant au chocolat with rich chocolate filling, dark chocolate flakes and vanilla ice cream.
Construction work on the new shop at Limassol Marina has begun and is underway. PAUL, which has a 130-year history with a global presence, has been active in Cyprus for the past six years.
It is an all-day destination boasting a rich Mediterranean menu with strong French influence. It serves coffee and other drinks, bakery products as well as lunch and dinner.
One of the chain’s key features is its shops’ French décor while the brand’s trademark is its huge displays of freshly baked bread, pastries and French sweets.
PAUL is represented in Cyprus by PHC Franchised Restaurants Public Ltd. It runs two shops in Nicosia (town centre and Mall of Cyprus) and one at Metropolis Mall in Larnaca.
It opened its first shop, on Zina Kanther street in central Nicosia, in 2017.
