Average gross monthly earnings of employees up by 6.2% in Q3, 2023

The average gross monthly earnings of employees during the third quarter of 2023, amounted to €2,224 compared to €2,094 during the third quarter of 2022, recording an increase of 6.2%, according to provisional data published by CySTAT.

The average gross monthly earnings during the third quarter of 2023, seasonally adjusted, are estimated at €2,371 and compared to the second quarter of 2023 they are up by 1.4%.

According to CySTAT, the average gross monthly earnings of male employees during the third quarter of 2023 are estimated at €2,390 and of female employees at €2,015.

Compared to the third quarter of 2022, the average gross monthly earnings of male and female employees recorded an increase of 6.1% and 6.2% respectively.
