AUB Mediterraneo to host ‘Second Case Conference 2024’ in February

American University of Beirut - Mediterraneo will host The Second Case Conference at its new campus in Paphos on 2-3 February 2024, welcoming an impressive lineup of speakers who will spread knowledge about the case method – and also advise case writers and share the latest strategies with executives, students, and academics.

The upcoming “Second Case Conference”, a collaborative effort between The Case Hub and its partner Ivey Publishing, aims to bring together academic and practical knowledge about the case method and promote the case method in the Arab MENA region.

According to the organisers, this enables action-oriented learning in all areas of management education and helps build capacity for case writing and create a community of case writers.

The conference targets case writers, academicians, instructors, program managers, executive education administrators, business leaders, and executives active in the Arab MENA region or in Cyprus or interested in the region and its potential.

The rich programme includes a keynote speech, professional development workshops, panels, presentation sessions, and case development sessions led by seasoned case writers, educators, and Ivey Publishing.

During case development sessions, participants will present their new case ideas and obtain detailed developmental feedback from experienced case mentors. The aim behind these mentor-participant case development sessions is to help participants move their cases forward to publication in The Case Hub, case publishers and distributors, or refereed journals.

Registration started on 20 December and ends on 15 January 2024. The conference will be held at the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo campus in Paphos, Cyprus, a twin campus of the American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanon. The venue is a prime location as it represents a bridge between the Arab-MENA region and Europe.
