Ministers discuss ties, Cyprus issue and legal cooperation with Kazakh Ambassador

Foreign Affairs Minister Constantinos Kombos and Minister of Justice Anna Koukkides Prokopiou held separate meetings with Kazakhstan Ambassador Satybaldy Burshakov this week, during which they exchanged views on the enhancement of bilateral relations, the Cyprus issue and legal cooperation and internal security.

According to a post on 'X' by the Foreign Ministry, the Minister and the Ambassador held a cordial meeting and they exchanged views on the enhancement of the bilateral relations, the Cyprus issue, as well as regional and international developments.

"Looking forward to the opening of Cyprus Embassy in Astana in 2024," it said.

Meanwhile, Minister of Justice Anna Koukkides Prokopiou also held a meeting with the Ambassador on Thursday. In a post on 'X' she wrote that it was a very productive meeting, and further common ground was established between the two countries  in terms of legal cooperation and internal security issues.
