Stavros Stavrou appointed CCCI President

Stavros Stavrou has been elected as the new President of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, following a vote that took place during the CCCI’s 96th Annual General Meeting.

The new CCCI Council comprises Stavrou, Vice President of Commerce Zinonas Apostolou, Vice President of Industry Costas Zorbas, Vice President of Services Avgoustinos Papathomas, Vice President of Tourism Costas Galatariotis and Vice President of Finance Andreas Demetriades.

Speaking to InBusinessNews, the new CCCI president sent a message of unity and cooperation between all stakeholders of the economy, society and business world.

Stavrou said his top priority will be to promote a collective effort to make the country progress.

“The first thing on my agenda is to bring all the institutions in these three units together, to cooperate and advance forward. Employers organisations, trade unions, the government, and all the institutions that work one way or another to promote society, business and the economy,” Stavrou said.
