Public Notice – Traffic CCTV vehicles justified, says Data Commissioner

Brink's Cyprus (Private Security Services) Ltd and Conduent have consulted with the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection and have justified the need for the operation of Closed Circuit Surveillance Systems (CCTV) on the Traffic Law Enforcement vehicles. The consultation was done in collaboration with Cyprus Police for the provision of the Design, Installation, Operation, and Maintenance of a Traffic Law Enforcement Camera e-Procurement System in the Republic of Cyprus.

Τhe installation of such CCTV systems is subject to the terms and conditions set forth by the Data Commissioner. The CCTV systems will become fully operational on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
