How would you describe your management style?
My management style is collaborative and empowering. I believe in creating a positive and inclusive work environment where everyone has a voice and is encouraged to contribute their unique skills and perspectives.
What has influenced your leadership style the most?
My leadership style has been influenced by a variety of factors, including my personal values, past work experiences, and the mentors and leaders I’ve admired throughout my career, who have modelled effective leadership behaviours and provided guidance and support.
What has been your greatest professional achievement?
My greatest professional achievement to date has been to lead a team that successfully launched a new product line, resulting in significant revenue growth for our company. It required a lot of hard work, collaboration and creative problem solving, and I’m proud of what we were able to accomplish together.
What has helped you most throughout the course of your career?
The thing that has helped me most throughout my career is a growth mindset. I believe in continuous learning, seeking out new challenges, and embracing failure as an opportunity to learn and grow.
I place great value on building strong relationships with colleagues and mentors, as such connections have provided me with invaluable support, guidance and opportunities for growth.”
What is the biggest/most frequent mistake that managers make?
The biggest mistake that managers make is failing to communicate effectively with their team members. Clear, timely, and respectful communication is key to building trust and alignment and it’s something that managers need to prioritize to be effective leaders.
Who is the object of your professional admiration?
“Leaders must possess a rare combination of skills that enable them to innovate, execute, and develop talent. While many leaders excel in one or two of these areas, it can be difficult to find those who truly excel in all three.”
How do you achieve a healthy balance between life at work and at home?
“Having a healthy balance between work and home is not always easy. I try to set clear boundaries between work and personal time and I make sure to schedule regular breaks and time off to recharge and spend time with family and friends.”
How do you relax?
Ienjoy watching sport, spending time with friends & family, and travel. Getting outdoors and being active is a great way to clear my head and reduce stress.

My favourite pastimes include trying new restaurants and attending sports events. I also love exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. These activities provide a great opportunity to connect with others and broaden my horizons.
