Christodoulides to address Greek economic forum and receive Honorary Doctorate

President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides is expected to visit Greece on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 April, to participate in the annual meeting of the Delphi Forum, and be awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Piraeus.

Delphi Economic Forum is a nonprofit, member driven organisation, which, according to its mission statement, is committed to deliver and promote innovative ideas for sustainable and competitive growth for Europe and the wider Eastern Mediterranean region.

On Friday 28 April, Christodoulides is anticipated to participate in the annual meeting of the Delphi Economic Forum, which will be held in the town of Delphi from 26 to 29 April. The President will participate in a panel discussion on world affairs, which is scheduled to take place at 19.00.

Prior to this, on Thursday, 27 April, Christodoulides is scheduled to be awarded an Honorary Doctorate of the Department of International and European Studies of the School of Business and International Studies of the University of Piraeus.

The ceremony will take place at 17:00 (local time) at the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus and be addressed by the Rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor Michael E. Sfakianakis. A presentation of the honoured's work (Laudatio) will follow by the Chairman of the Department of International and European Studies, Professor Aristotle Tziabiris.
