Describe your current job in Cyprus.

I am the trainer for my account. This means that I am responsible for the learning environment, which includes training new people, coaching people and, in general, making sure that everyone is up-to-date and can do their job in the best possible way.

What led to your move from Denmark to Cyprus?

I had just finished school and I wanted to explore and discover the world a bit more. When I found my job, it was just obvious to me that I should move to Cyprus.

How does the professional environment in Cyprus differ from that in Denmark?

Speaking through the lens of someone who has moved from abroad – since most of us have moved from abroad to where I am – I would say that, in Cyprus, I am much closer, more connected and involved with my colleagues that I would have been in a job back home.

How do you view the business environment in your particular industry?

I think the business environment, in my account at least, is pretty relaxed and supportive and, most importantly, there is always the incentive to try to help each other out if an issue arises.

How do you find working and living in Cyprus? How easily did you adapt to life here?

I really like living in Cyprus! It is nice to experience another culture and a different climate from what I was used to in Denmark. Living in Cyprus is definitely a unique experience and although there were some new challenges for me, I found it relatively easy to adapt to life here.
