TheSoul Publishing’s journey in “safe” Cyprus’

Patrik Wilkens, the Vice President of Operations at Cyprus-based TheSoul Publishing, has said the main criteria behind his decision to relocate with his family to the island is because it is a safe place to live.

He was addressing the “Cyprus: The new Global Technology and Innovation Hub” summit, where he said the island offers a lot of opportunities to foreign companies relocating to the island.

Wilkens, who relocated to Cyprus with his family two years ago, said TheSoul Publishing is now a proud member of the Cypriot tech community, with 440 employees currently working at the company of whom 305 are foreign experts who recently relocated to the island with some 175 family members. This, said Wilkens, showed how easy it was for tech companies to move their families from one country to another.

He said the government had a lot to do with this smooth transition, as it offered foreign companies a lot of support in the form of incentives and general support.
