No Cypriot entities mentioned in list of new UK sanctions

A new list of 86 individuals and entities against which the UK has introduced sanctions released on 19 May does not include any Cypriot nationals or companies.

According to a Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office press release, the UK sanctions “target Russia’s theft of Ukrainian grain, advanced military technology, and remaining revenue sources.” The sanctions package includes “companies connected to theft of Ukrainian grain, and those involved in shipment of Russian energy,” the announcement said.
