President Christodoulides to travel to Paris and London

President Nikos Christodoulides departs for Paris on Tuesday evening for talks with Manuel Macron while on Thursday he will fly to London to attend King Charles III's coronation.

According to an official press release, President Christodoulides will be welcomed by Marcon at the Champs Elysee and after statements to the press, the two leaders will have a working lunch followed by a meeting.

Among the issues to be discussed will be the Cyprus issue and President Christodoulides' proposal for a more active EU involvement to break the deadlock and resume negotiations for a solution, bilateral relations, the situation in Ukraine and EU issues including immigration and regional developments.

President Christodoulides will also attend a dinner hosted by members of overseas Cypriots in Paris.

On Thursday he will meet with senior officials of TOTAL energy company before departing for London to attend King Charles' coronation on Saturday.

He will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos, Government spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis, Cyprus' Ambassador to France George Shakalis, the Director of the President's diplomatic office Marilena Raouna and other officials.
