The Island Private School students learn about the blue economy

Middle school students from The Island Private School in Limassol were invited to the BSM Marine Training Centre where they were taught about maritime operations and the blue economy.

“Thanks to the enthusiasm and active participation of the students in the ‘blue economy’ project, BSM Marine Training Centre invited students from the middle school to try the shipping simulator,” the school said. “It allowed them to dive into the world of maritime operations and explore the various aspects of the blue economy.”

The trip to the training center not only provided a practical learning experience, but also aligned perfectly with the topic currently being studied, "Water, Water, Everywhere", it added.

“By bridging the gap between theory and practice, students are not only able to solidify their knowledge, but also develop a passion for subjects like the blue economy.”

The Island Private School in Limassol is an international, English-speaking school, with an English-language curriculum.
