Mercure Larnaca Beach Resort: Accor’s first beach resort in Cyprus is here (pics)

One of the world’s top hotel groups, Accor, has debuted in Cyprus through its Mercure brand.

Mercure Hotels is now part of the Cyprus market through a new seaside resort.

Mercure Larnaca Beach Resort is the island’s first Mercure hotel, opening its doors following an agreement between the French Accor Group and Solaar Hospitality.

Luxury services

The new hotel is situated in Voroklini, on the site of the former Michael’s hotel and near Radisson Beach Resort Larnaca.

Mercure’s new hotel has 60 spacious rooms and suites and three villas.

The resort offers personalized luxury services including a semi-private beach, the relaxing M Sky Bar on the top floor and the locally-inspired fusion restaurant Kyma, as well as the Aura spa and conference/business meeting spaces.

Mercure’s hotels are in the 3 and 4 star categories, combining the strength of an international network with an authentic, local hospitality experience.

The slogan of Mercure Hotels is ‘In harmony with people and places’ with the chain putting emphasis on the history and cultural heritage of each of its locations.

The chain has 943 hotels with 125, 341 rooms in 58 countries, with plans for another 206 hotels and 33,459 rooms.

Headquartered in France, Accor is one of the world’s leading hotel groups, with over 40 brands under its umbrella encompassing more than 5,300 hotels in 110 countries.

Accor’s portfolio of hotels includes luxury, premium, mid-range (such as Mercure), budget and lifestyle hotels, such as the Ennismore collection.
