Voltalia & Leroy Merlin: Collab brings renewable energy solutions for households

Voltalia Greece, a leading renewable energy company, and Leroy Merlin, the renowned home improvement and do-it-yourself retailer, have announced their collaboration in a joint effort to promote sustainability and accelerate the adoption of renewable energy solutions in Greece and Cyprus.

Under the collaboration, Voltalia will provide Leroy Merlin customers with clean, affordable, and reliable energy solutions.

The innovative Solar Energy kit will be the first product to be presented in Leroy Merlin stores. It is a plug n’ play solar product for residential use that gives the opportunity to self-produce clean energy for the home, generating significant electricity costs saving.

The Solar Energy Kit was presented on 24-31 May at Thessaloniki’s Leroy Merlin store. The Solar Energy Kit is available in all eight Leroy Merlin stores in Greece and Cyprus, as well as on the retailer’s and Voltalia’s websites.

Voltalia also offers a variety of energy products such as PV Modules, Inverters, Energy Storage Systems and more, from leading solar manufacturers that enable PV professionals to have access to a wide range of PV equipment in order to meet the needs of any type of PV project requested.

Commenting on the collaboration, Alexis Goybet, Country Manager of Voltalia Greece, said: "We are delighted to partner with Leroy Merlin, a company renowned for its commitment to sustainability and customer-centric approach. This collaboration aligns perfectly with Voltalia's mission to accelerate the energy transition and provide access to clean energy for all. Together, we will make a significant impact in promoting renewable energy adoption and driving sustainability."

Agathe Monpays, General Manager of Leroy Merlin Greece & Cyprus, added, "At Leroy Merlin, we are committed to strengthening our partnerships and initiatives with organisations and companies in order to continue to offer all inhabitants access to a more sustainable and positive home. The whole world is gradually transitioning towards a clean and sustainable future and the customers in Greece are already acting towards energy renovation. We are here to act as an enabler and make it easy for them, starting with the inclusion of the Solar Energy Kit in our product range. We are more than excited with this new cooperation with Voltalia and the potential ahead”.
