AstroBank named Best Bank in Cyprus for 2023 in Private Banking

AstroBank received the Best Private Bank – Cyprus award at the Global Private Banking Innovation Awards 2023, at a ceremony held in Singapore recently.

AstroBank was awarded by Global Private Banker at the 8 June event, alongside dozens of global financial and investment institutions, with the jury highlighting that AstroBank's Private Banking Division provides innovative solutions to high-net-worth individuals.

"Τhis way, AstroBank grew its total assets while enjoying continued revenue growth. By making strategic investments to upgrade its digital capabilities, the Bank offers its clients personalised wealth preservation services", the prestigious jury members underlined, explaining the rationale behind their decision.

Receiving the award on behalf of AstroBank, Head of Private Banking, Treasury & ESG, Charis Kynigou, said she was proud of the bank’s global recognition. Among other things, she pointed out that "a key ingredient of this success is our professionalism and reliability, the quality of services we offer through our innovative ideas and products, combined with a constant focus on building long-term relationships of mutual trust with our clients".

AstroBank has developed an extensive customer base, which is significant considering the Bank's size and overall market share in Cyprus. At the same time, the strong collaborations with reputable and renowned foreign investment firms and credit institutions that the Bank maintains, allows to offer its clients a high quality of service, according to a relevant announcement by the bank.

It is worth noting that the Global Private Banking Innovation Awards 2023, recognise the best entries on the basis of a specific evaluation framework developed by Global Private Banker. Key evaluation criteria include digital innovation, client experience, financial and business performance, and corporate strategy.

The awards recognise best practices in the incorporation of digitally-led innovation in private banking to enhance an institution’s service delivery.

The financial institutions recognised as part of the awards, create value for their clients through instant portfolio position reporting, unbiased real-time investment and market insights and recommendations for wealth creation and preservation.
