The Blue Flag Marina designation is an internationally recognised accolade run by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), a non-governmental organisation. It is also represented by national organisations in each of the participating countries in Europe, the Caribbean, New Zealand and South Africa, and serves as a symbol of excellence, representing the highest standards in water quality, environmental management, safety, and sustainable practices in marina operations.
“Limassol Marina’s achievement of the prestigious Blue Flag Marina accolade highlights once again its dedication to maintaining an environmentally friendly and sustainable marina that preserves the natural beauty of its surroundings, and its adherence to the guidelines in place for the protection of Cyprus’ coastal waters and marine eco system,” the company said. “It also distinguishes Limassol Marina as an exceptional destination for boating enthusiasts and marine conservation advocates who value environmental stewardship.”
