Tourism Deputy Minister heads CCCI delegation to Kazakhstan

A Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) delegation led by Deputy Minister of Tourism Costas Koumis is traveling to Almaty, Kazakhstan, an announcement by the Deputy Ministry says.

Representatives of Cypriot companies from various sectors of the economy are participating in the mission.

During the visit, a business forum will be held to present the prospects of the Cyprus economy and its business sectors, as well as networking meetings of the members of the delegation with representatives of Kazakh companies in order to discuss the possibilities of developing partnerships.

The Deputy Minister will meet among others, with officials of the Kazakh government and will speak at the business forum that will be held on 21 June.

The business mission is part of the government's general effort to promote Cyprus as a regional and international business centre.
