Thanos Michaelides is the new President of the Cyprus Hotels Association

The CEO of Thanos Hotels & Resorts, Thanos Michaelides, is the new president of the Cyprus Hotels Association following the association’s recent AGM.

Michaelides was unanimously elected by the 23-member Board of Directors, as there was no other nomination for the highest position in the association’s leadership. The Association is more widely known by its Greek acronym, Pasyxe.

Thanos Michaelides, was until recently head of the association’s Paphos branch and Thanos Hotels & Resorts includes the five-star Anassa, Annabelle and Almyra hotels.

The group recently expanded to Greece, specifically to Mykonos, through the Amyth of Mykonos hotel, Thanos Hotels' first hotel unit in Greece, which essentially marked the expansion of the group outside of Cyprus.

Michaelides takes over the reins of PASYXE succeeding Haris Loizides, who hands over the baton after twenty years of leading Pasyxe.
