Nicos Chimarides named new President of ICPAC

The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) has elected Nicos Chimarides as its new President.

Following ICPAC’s recent 62nd AGM, Odysseas Christodoulou was named Vice-President, and Eleni Pyrgou was named Secretary.

The Members of ICPAC’s Board of Directors are the following:

Andreas Avraamides, Andreas Andreou, Demetris S. Vakis, Constantinos Kallis, Stavros Ioannou, Pieris Markou, Gabriel Onisiforou, Maria Pastellopoulou, Petros Petrakis, Demetris Shacallis, Spyros Spyrou, and Marios Demetriades.

The new President

Chimarides is a partner in PwC Cyprus. He is a member of the Management Board and Tax & Legal Leader.

He has over 25 years of experience in advising large MNCs on international tax matters.

As well as the new President of the Council of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus, Chimarides is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Computer Science from Queen Mary College, University of London.
