Introducing Bálza, Nicosia’s new rooftop bar-restaurant

Bálza, a new rooftop bar-restaurant in Nicosia may just have opened, but it is already proving popular with the capital city’s residents and visitors.

With a panoramic view of Nicosia, a relaxed atmosphere, and a tantalising food and drinks menu, Bálza is located on the seventh floor of the Hadjisavva building (Megaro Hadjisavva).

Being situated on the corner of Evagorou and Omirou avenues means the location is in close proximity to five parking lots. These include the lots under Eleftheria Square, the Theofanides parking lot, the Zena Kanther parking area, the D’Avila Moat space, and the Diagorou parking lot.

An elevator ride to Bálza takes to you to a 500 sq.m. open-air space with protective safety glass. As its name suggests, the venue is divided into two parts, the bar, and the restaurant.

Of a total of 40 tables and 2 bars, 25 tables and the smaller bar belong to the restaurant, while 15 tables and the main bar - which has a diameter of 20 meters - belong to the bar.

A natural colour palette adds to the relaxing atmosphere enhanced by select musical choices for after-work drinks, dinner, and more.

Visit the venue’s Facebook and Instagram pages for more information.
