KPMG in Cyprus supports the "Adopt an Athlete" Programme of the Cyprus Federation of Special Olympics

KPMG in Cyprus, in the context of its corporate social responsibility actions and in expression of its long-standing support of the "Adopt an Athlete" Programme of the Cyprus Federation of Special Olympics, funded the participation of Loukia Georgiou, a rhythmic gymnast, in the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin, on 17-25 June 2023.
The firm awarded Loukia in a ceremony that took place at our Nicosia offices. Loukia is a multi-award-winning rhythmic gymnast. At the 2023 Special Olympics World Games, Loukia was awarded with a gold medal in rope, silver in clubs and bronze in ribbon and hoops. The management of the firm along with Loukia’s family, her coach and a representative from the Cyprus Federation of Special Olympics attended the ceremony. Loukia's funding is aligned with our firm's commitment to accept all individuals and respect diversity, an announcement from KPMG said.
