Limassol Marina’s General Manager receives global maritime accolade

Limassol Marina’s General Manager, Nikiforos Pampakas, has received the Certified Marina Manager (CMM) accreditation by the British Marine Federation and the Global Marina Institute.
CMMs are recognised as distinguished marina professionals who have completed an extensive certification process, and who demonstrate a high level of professional achievement through knowledge, experience and active participation in the marina industry.
Commenting on the accreditation, Pampakas said: “I am delighted to receive this accolade to help develop my career in the Marina sector. I am incredibly proud to work with such dedicated and passionate team, who together, have created the first superyacht destination in Cyprus, offering outstanding facilities and service.”
As General Manager of Limassol Marina, Pampakas plays a vital role in ensuring the development’s ongoing success by overseeing all efforts pertaining to the strategic development, sustainable growth, and overall smooth operation of the marina. He is equipped with significant professional experience acquired through his diverse roles in multiple sectors in Cyprus and abroad.
British Marine Federation is the trade association for the UK leisure, superyacht, and small commercial marine industry. Its 1,500+ members come from a broad range of businesses including boat builders, chandlers, brokers, marinas, passenger boats and engines. British Marine Federation aims to deliver excellence in the quality of its membership services, its members, and the boating community.
Global Marina Institute is a partnership between British Marine and the Marine Industries Association. Its aim is to deliver global marine training and certification to maintain and increase standards in marinas worldwide. The two organisations collaborate to maintain existing certifications and to develop new certification pathways and training courses to meet the needs of existing and developing marinas globally.
