Marinos Voukis named new Chairperson of CSR Cyprus

After three consecutive two-year terms on the Board of Directors of CSR Cyprus, two of which as Chairperson, Elli Ioannidou has handed the baton to Marinos Voukis.
In a post on her social media, Ioannidou expresses her congratulations to Voukis and said she wished every success to the new Board of Directors’ work, contributing through the Association's work, as she noted, to the sustainability of Cypriot businesses and the country as a whole.
The new composition of CSR Cyprus is as follows:

Marinos Voukis works at the Cyprus University of Technology as Head of the Communication, Marketing and Internationalisation Services. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organisation and Business Administration (BSc) from the University of Piraeus (Greece), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from California State University, Fresno (USA) and a PhD ) in the Implementation of Sustainable Development in Higher Education Institutions, from Panteion University (Greece).
He has, among other things, over 20 years of international work experience at five prestigious Higher Education Institutions in three different countries in Europe and the USA. He is certified as Chief Sustainability Officer, GRI Certified Trainer, based on GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards and Trainer from the Human Resources Development Authority (ANAD) of Cyprus. In addition, he has been selected by the international organisation Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) and has served continuously as a Member of the Advisory Council of AASHE from December 31, 2019. Furthermore, Voukis has been selected and contributed as a Member to local and international Judging Committees for awards related to CSR/Sustainable Development and education (AASHE Sustainability Awards, Cyprus Responsible Business Awards, Cyprus Education Leaders Awards).
He has successfully completed a multitude of educational and/or professional conferences, seminars and workshops on Sustainable Development and CSR and has published, in the local daily and online press, articles on Sustainable Development and Higher Education Institutions. In addition, in 2020 he has written and published the first Greek-language fairy tale about the 17 SDGs, which has been approved by the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, is available for free and is in the process of being translated into other languages.
CSR Cyprus was founded as a Non-Profit Association and is the national business Network for Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility in Cyprus. The main purpose of the Network is the promotion, development and implementation of CSR and its promotion both to the business world and to the social environment with the ultimate goal of achieving balanced profitability and sustainable development.
Utilising the principles and practices of Responsible Entrepreneurship, CSR Cyprus seeks to develop, promote, and promote the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility both to the business world of Cyprus and to the social environment with the ultimate goal of achieving balanced profitability and sustainable development.
