Remedica enters the non-pharmaceutical market

A new chapter has begun for the Cypriot pharmaceutical company Remedica, which has officially announced its entry into the market of medical technology, cosmetics, and other non-pharmaceutical products.

The company presented the first line of products in the sector, to health professionals from all over Cyprus, during two events held on 28 June in Limassol and 5 July in Nicosia.

"Today, we are taking a bold step forward, expanding our product range, to become a complete 'one-stop shop' for all healthcare professionals," said the Chief Executive Officer of the Remedica Group, Dr. Michalis Neoptolemou, in his speech.

The company's decision, he noted, to engage in non-pharmaceutical products is perfectly aligned with its vision to provide holistic care to citizens, and to offer an unrivaled convenience and choice of products to healthcare professionals.

Dr. Neoptolemou emphasised that the five new products that Remedica is launching on the Cypriot market are manufactured in the EU, under the strict standards provided for by European legislation, with the corresponding certification and licensing marks.

He added that, "our team of experts has meticulously curated our new products, ensuring they meet strict standards of quality, safety and efficacy."

The five new products, which will be available exclusively in pharmacies, are:

  • RemeHeal Gel, a hydrocolloid gel spray, which helps accelerate the healing of minor and superficial wounds and burns.
  • RemAthlon spray, a cosmetic product with natural key ingredients, which helps relieve muscle stiffness and muscle pain.
  • RemeFreeze spray, which helps provide immediate relief from muscle, joint and sprain pain.
  • The cosmetic RemeFoot, in the form of a powder spray, which keeps the feet dry and away from odors and irritations.
  • RemeSaline Nasal Spray, which works as an additional natural treatment to combat nasal symptoms.

The Chief Executive Officer of Remedica also stated, “Our entry into the market of the products we present to you today, does not diminish our commitment to the development of medicines that save lives. It strengthens her. It enables us to touch the lives of healthcare professionals and patients in ways that extend beyond medicine."

By embracing, he concluded, this new chapter, we will continue to transform lives, empower individuals and contribute to a healthier and more beautiful world.
