ASBIS: Best June in history with revenues up almost 30%

Limassol-based ASBISc Enterprises Plc recorded its best financial results for June to date, seeing its revenue soar by almost 30% year-on-year.

According to preliminary estimations, ASBIS - a leading Value Add Distributor, developer, and provider of ICT, IoT products, solutions, and services to the markets of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) - in June 2023 had consolidated revenues at the level of approximately $267m, compared to $207m in June 2022, an increase of around 29%.
Costas Tziamalis, Deputy CEO of ASBIS Group, commented: “We closed the best June in our history. It was not only nearly 30% higher than last year's June, but also 12% higher than the record-breaking June in 2021. This is a remarkable achievement, especially since the second quarter of the year is usually the weakest in the entire calendar year. The growth leaders were: Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Slovakia. Poland also did very well compared to last year. We are not slowing down, we are still dynamically developing our operations in the countries of the Caucasus, but we are also strong in some countries of Central and Eastern Europe, such as Slovakia, where we have a leading position.”

Tziamalis added: “As for our sales in June the best-selling product categories were: smartphones, processors and laptops, in particular MacBooks.”
