Cyprus-Greece-Israel Summit postponed after Netanyahu's medical procedure

The trilateral summit between Cyprus, Greece, and Israel scheduled for 26 July is postponed, sources told CNA, since the Israeli Prime Minister’s visit to Nicosia was called off.

According to Israeli and international media reports, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu underwent an operation on 22 July.

The same sources told CNA that Netanyahu’s visit was called off therefore the summit between Cyprus, Greece, and Israel, scheduled for 26 July, was postponed.

According to media reports, Netanyahu was admitted to the Sheba Medical Center on 22 July to be fitted with a pacemaker, a week after being rushed to the same hospital after feeling unwell.

The hospital announced that Netanyahu was in good condition, while his Office announced that he was expected to be discharged on 23 July reports said.
