“Crown Iris” sounds beginning of summer cruise season

Larnaca Port welcomed its first cruise ship of the year, Mano Cruises' "Crown Iris", on 30 June, with traditional Cypriot treats, music and dances.

Having arrived from the Israeli port of Haifa with around 1,600 tourists on board, the “Crown Iris” was the first of 25 cruise ships scheduled to arrive in Larnaca and Limassol throughout the summer season.

While docked on the island, the visitors can partake in a variety of excursions, including visits to Lefkara, the historic capital Nicosia, and the lively resort town of Ayia Napa.
