USS Ramage in Limassol, showcases support for regional stability, says diplomat

The visit of the USS Ramage, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer to Cyprus, showcases the efforts of Cyprus and the US to support regional security and stability, said US Ambassador to Cyprus, Julie Fisher.

In a tweet on social media platform “X”, Ambassador Fisher said the USS Ramage, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, pulled into Limassol for a regularly-scheduled port visit, “yet again showcasing our shared efforts in support of regional security and stability”.

The Cyprus News Agency has learned that the destroyer will remain in Limassol until 24 August.
