The Cyprus University of Technology's Faculty of Tourism Management, Hospitality and Entrepreneurship will be housed in Paphos from this academic year and guided tours of the new facility are being given on Monday and Tuesday, 28 and 29 August.

The new addition creates new perspectives in the field of education in Paphos, at the same time contributing at the same time to the upgrading of the hotel and tourism industry, driving, not only the economy of Paphos but also the Cypriot economy as a whole.

The newly constructed building facilities, which were recently handed over by the Municipality of Paphos to the CUT Administration, are located on 9 Ampelokipon Street, opposite the Holy Church of Panayia Pantanassa.

The architecture and specific design of the building were handled by Eraclis Papachristou Architects.

The Faculty’s students, through the offered study programmes which include studies at undergraduate, postgraduate (Master), and PhD level, acquire a variety of managerial and administrative skills.

At the same time, the structure and content of the study programmes provide the opportunity for graduates to gain an academic background that allows them to pursue a career in the hospitality and tourism industry of Cyprus, to be employed in the public/broader public and semi-public sector, as well as in companies/organisations in the service sector.

The CUT Faculty’s arrival comes to further enrich the education sector of Paphos, together with the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo, which will start its operation soon, the Pafos Innovation Institute, and the private Neapolis University Pafos.

The recently completed building facilities in which CUT’s Faculty of Tourism Management, Hospitality, and Entrepreneurship are open to the public for visits and guided tours on Monday and Tuesday, 28 and 29 August from 8.30am until 8.30pm.
