RSM Cyprus: Proud supporter of the 7th Environmental Festival – ‘Environment, Sorry’

In the context of its Corporate Social Responsibility, RSM Cyprus supported the 7th Environmental Festival with the concept 'Environment, Sorry', and which took place on Sunday, 27 August, 2023, at the excursion site of Xyliatos Park in Nicosia.

The event was organised by the Independent Environmental Organisation 'Green Shield' in collaboration with the programmes' YOU REFOREST CYPRUS' and 'ELPIDA ZOIS.'

This year's festival, which took place for a 7th consecutive year, was under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides. The purpose was to raise environmental awareness and promote sustainable development, an announcement from RSM Cyprus noted.

The firm's Partner, Marios Charalambides, presented an award to Kykkos A' Lyceum, acknowledging their active engagement in environmental initiatives and their commendable adherence to environmentally responsible practices. 'Green Shield' also handed RSM Cyprus an honourary plaque during the event, acknowledging its contribution to the "YOU REFOREST CYPRUS" project.

It is worth mentioning that the firm, RSM Cyprus, within the framework of the Birthday-off Gift Day programme and its efforts to enhance environmental awareness amongst its people, in addition to a leave of absence from the workplace, provides a Timeless Gift. RSM Cyprus adopts a baby tree in the person's name, which grows in 'Green Shield's' tree nursery until it is ready to be planted.
