TechIsland Award winners' view on doing business in Cyprus (video)

Paying tribute to those using their resources and influence to bring about real change within Cyprus’ communities, from education and social actions to policy reforms, the TechIsland Awards 2023 recently recognised seven individuals and organisations for their contribution.
The individuals recognised at the recent TechIsland Awards, as well as representatives of the winning organisations, took time out of the event to speak to the camera about what winning the award means to them.
The Awards ceremony took place at the Parklane Resort & Spa in Limassol on the evening of 7 September.
Alexey Gubarev, among other things a member of Palta’s board of directors, was named the winner in the Thought Leader category.
The award in the Game Changer category went to The Civil Registry and Migration Department of the Ministry of Interior with the prize accepted by the Department’s Director Maria Adamidou.
The Reflect Festival was named IT Ambassador with representatives Andria Lambrou and Aleksander Jahn, who is featured in this video, on stage to accept the award.
The Rising Star award went to RSL Revolutionary Labs Ltd with founder Dr. Marianna Prokopi-Demetriades handed the prize.
In the Future-Shapers category, the prize went to The Island Private School of Limassol, with its CEO Alexander Shkuratov handed the award.
TheSoul Publishing was named Role Model of the Year, with Aleksandra Sulimko, Chief HR Officer, accepting the award on the company’s behalf.
The Impact Driver award went to City Friends Club, with the award handed to founder Anna Gubareva.
