Christodoulides-Netanyahu to discuss Cyprus issue, energy, regional developments

Developments in the Cyprus issue, bilateral relations between Cyprus and Israel, energy issues, regional developments, as well as EU-Israel relations, will be among the topics that will occupy a meeting of the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, and the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, who arrives in Cyprus on Sunday, 3 September.

According to a press release issued by the Presidency, the meeting of the two leaders, which will take place on Sunday afternoon, at the Presidential Palace, is a follow-up to President Christodoulides' visit to Israel last May, and will precede the Tripartite Summit of Cyprus, Greece, Israel, which will take place on Monday in Nicosia, with the participation of the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

On Sunday, President Christodoulides will welcome Prime Minister Netanyahu, at the Presidential Palace, and after the official welcome ceremony, they have a private meeting, which will be followed by extended talks between the delegations of the two countries.
