At 1035, Mitsotakis will have a private meeting with the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, to be followed by expanded talks between the two countries' delegations.

Then the Trilateral Summit will take place, after which the three leaders will make statements to the press.

On Sunday afternoon, President Christodoulides had talks at the Presidential Palace with Prime Minister Netanyahu. The two leaders agreed to hold an intergovernmental meeting during the first quarter of 2024.

They also discussed the Cyprus issue, Energy, the fight against terrorism, while placing special emphasis on the expansion of regional cooperation.

In the evening Netanyahu had a meeting in Limassol with the former President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades.

Cyprus has been divided since 1974, when Turkey invaded and occupied its northern third. Repeated rounds of UN-led peace talks have so far failed to yield results. The latest round of negotiations, in July 2017 at the Swiss resort of Crans-Montana ended inconclusively.
