W.R.A. Consultants’ deal to acquire Aphrodite Hills with competition watchdog

The Committee for the Protection of Competition (CPC) announced that it has received the notification for concentration relating to W.R.A. Consultants’ share capital acquisition in Aphrodite Hills Resort Limited.

It is noted that the remaining share capital already belongs to W.R.A. Consultants.

W.R.A. Consultants Ltd is a company duly registered in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and is active, through its subsidiaries, in the ownership, management and exploitation of hotel accommodation.

The target in the proposed concentration is Aphrodite Hills Resort Limited, a company duly registered under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, which is principally engaged in the development and sale of real estate in Aphrodite Hills, as well as in the management and operation of hotel accommodation and sports activities.

Earlier in January, MHV Mediterranean Hospitality Venture Plc said that it entered into an agreement for the sale of the Group’s 50% shareholding in Aphrodite Hills Resort Limited (AHRL) to W.R.A. Consultants Ltd.
