Loukas Lagoudis appointed Member of CySEC Board

The Council of Ministers has appointed Loukas Lagoudis as a member of the Board of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).

Lagoudis, who specialises in Risk Management, will serve a five-year term, from 9 October 2024 until 8 October 2029.

CySEC is administered by a seven-member Board, consisting of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman, who provide their services on a full and exclusive employment basis, and five additional non-executive members.

All the persons that constitute the CySEC Board are appointed by the Council of Ministers following a proposal of the Minister of Finance. Their service is a five-year term. The service for all the members is renewable for five more years.
