Heads of state of Italy, Slovenia and Malta arrive for MED9 meeting in Paphos (pics)

President Nikos Christodoulides welcomed more state leaders to the Paphos location of the MED9 meeting.

Earlier, Christodoulides welcomed King Abdullah of Jordan and Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Portugal's Minister of State and Foreign Affairs Paulo Rangel.

The meeting’s delegates will discuss all the current issues that concern Mediterranean countries, as well as the situation in the Middle East.
