Cyprus Writers Center PEN President elected Head of PEN International Committee

Angela Christofidou, President of the Cyprus Writers' Center PEN, has been elected President of the International Search Committee of the International Union of Writers PEN (PEN International) at the first session of the Committee.

According to a press release, the International Committee has reassumed its duties following the elections held at the Ninetieth International Congress in Oxford between 24-27 September.

The President of the International Committee participates in the sessions of the Board of Directors of the International PEN and cooperates with its members, within the scope of the Committee's powers, in cooperation and constant consultation with the other elected members of the Committee, Folu Agoi (PEN of Nigeria), Jacob Søndergaard (PEN of Denmark), and Gerardo Montoya (PEN of Argentina).
