TheSoul Publishing’s collaboration with Crayola wins 2024 OMMA Award

TheSoul Publishing’s innovative collaboration with widely popular art supplies manufacturer Crayola has won the 2024 OMMA Award for “Best Social Campaign Across Platforms”.

“This recognition celebrates the creativity and passion that both teams have poured into creating interactive, family-friendly digital content,” Limassol-based TheSoul Publishing said announcing the news on its LinkedIn. “Together, we're redefining what’s possible across social media, and we’re just getting started!”

Explaining the reasoning behind the award, OMMA said: “Crayola, the brand that starts firing people’s creativity long before they can even say “crayon,” has outdone itself. The same minds that understand Carnation Pink plays a different role than Magenta are maximizing the difference between social platforms. That can mean quick DIY craft hits or celebrity connections on TikTok, longer tutorials on YouTube, and entirely different projects—like the origami Unicorn bookmark—for the visual thinkers who flock to Pinterest. With 360 videos earning 745,000 watch hours, this inspiring effort clocked in 99.6 million beautiful, kid-safe views.”

Now in their 20th year, the OMMA Awards – held in New York – honour the best in Online Media, Marketing and Advertising with 55 categories across two sections: Excellence in Online Advertising and Excellence in Media & Marketing. Whether by channel, industry sector or medium, the OMMA Awards cover every corner of the digital advertising industry.

This year they were held at a new location, The Cutting Room, which builds on a decade of history that includes some of today's top performers, including John Mayer, Lady Gaga, Sting, Sheryl Crow and David Bowie. Created by original owner Steve Walter (Berklee Alumnus) and co-owner Chris Noth (Sex and the City, Law & Order, The Good Wife), the new Cutting Room continues the tradition of extraordinary performances and special moments, with a fresh new take on what a rock club & lounge should feel like.
