AEGEAN adds new direct connection between Larnaca and Rome

Greek airline AEGEAN has announced the launch of a new direct connection between Cyprus and Rome.

The new route from Larnaca International Airport “Glafkos Clerides” to “Leonardo da Vinci” International Airport (Fiumicino) in Rome, commencing next April, will connect Larnaca with Rome with three weekly direct flights throughout the summer season 2025 and it is within AEGEAN’s intentions to expand its operations also during the winter period. The flights will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, while tickets are already available on AEGEAN’s website, the booking systems, and through travel agencies.

It is to be noted that in June, AEGEAN, always focused in enhancing travel experience, inaugurated its new Business Lounge at Larnaca Airport, which covers a total area of 345 square meters next to the departure gates, offering an unobstructed view to the apron, while filled with natural light.

This year AEGEAN is celebrating its 25th year of operation, and while remaining committed in facilitating the island’s interconnectivity, plans to increase its capacity in 2025, by offering 1,25 million seats in total from/to Cyprus, marking a 9% increase compared to the previous year, alongside this new direct connection. AEGEAN carried over 12 million passengers throughout the years both through direct scheduled and charter flights, as well as with connecting flights via Athens and Thessaloniki which serves with up to 7 daily flights and up to 2 daily flights respectively all year round.
